Overnight closures 26 to 30 September 2022 8pm to 6am the following morning.
 
National Highways operates, maintains and improves England’s
motorways and major A-roads.
This is to let you know we’ll be carrying out westbound resurfacing works on the A38 between Ashburton and Dartbridge, we’ll also resurface exit and entry slip roads at Whistley Hill and Peartree junctions. Works will take place overnight between the hours of 8pm and 6am when traffic flows are at their lowest.
 
Please accept our apologies in advance for any disruption which
may be caused. We’ll make every effort to ensure the impact on
the local community and travelling public is kept to a minimum.

Traffic management
For the safety of our workforce the A38 westbound will be closed
between Ashburton, Whistley Hill junction and Dartbridge junction.
Various slip-road closures will be in place at Whistley Hill, Peartree and Dartbridge junctions. Motorists will be diverted along short locally signed routes. Additionally, 3-way traffic signals will be in place at Cabbage Hill and the B3352.
 
We always aim to work to the programme, however unforeseen
circumstances or adverse weather conditions may mean changes.
