In April 2019, Staverton Parish Council unanimously voted in support of a motion declaring a climate emergency setting a target of net zero carbon emissions by 2030.

The parish council called on DCC, SHDC, and our MP to work to provide the resources to make this target possible, and pledged to place this issue at the heart of its agenda moving forwards.
