Thursday 23rd January sees Harbottle and Jonas, a stunning young professional folk duo, who will share ‘Songs and Stories of The Sea’ including the woeful story of the lost village of Hall Sands and other historic happenings. Their storytelling will be by talking and performing their songs. 7pm prompt. £5 admission which includes cake and a drink (free school age children).
In February, on the 20th, Stephen Summers will present ‘The Honeybee’s life: a short and brutal tale of sex, violence and nectar’ followed by Helen Parr from the Greater Horseshoe Bat Project who will give us an insight into this rare species that lives amongst us.
