Event Description

[gview file=”https://www.staverton.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/Poster-Wild-Words.pdf”]VISIBLE INK is a performance group working with the written word and music to devise themed entertainments for charities. Members are Malcolm Baldwin; Jane Barsby; Amanda Cuthbert; Anna Lunk;, Martin Sorrel and Chris Waters. Past shows have included Buns on Seats for Week Community Orchard, Travelling Hopefully for Littlehempston Community Space, and most recently, Afghan Women for Amnesty International where pianist Sam Richards joined them.

Wild Words and Music celebrates the natural world with humour, sadness and satire with readings from both familiar authors and the lesser known. Original music with Appalachian dulcimer, Hang drum and Cajon provides additional colour to what promises to be a most entertaining evening in a friendly village atmosphere.

Tickets at £8.50 to include a 2-course supper are available from Alison Alexander 762291 or Cheryl Loverock 762677.

All proceeds from this event will go to Staverton Wildlife Conservation Society and will help to maintain the boardwalk and nature reserve and also to improve visitor information about the area.
